What to expect

This session of the Local Government Network – exclusive to council staff – will explore the reallocation of road space.

Our guest presenter is Josh Kamil from Maribyrnong City Council, project manager of the Barkly Street Road Renewal Project. The project seeks to rebalance allocation of road space on a major municipal road, with a focus on greening, bikes, pedestrians and public transport.

With community engagement now complete, the project is progressing to design and delivery. This presentation will discuss the design and engagement process and how Maribyrnong Council was able to take the community on this journey,

After Josh’s presentation and Q&A, there will be an opportunity for broader discussion of re-allocating road space, community engagement and other issues raised.

This webinar is exclusive to local government staff – an opportunity to talk openly about the issues with your council peers. People who are not council staff will be unable to register.
