What to expect

Following the recent release of updated Movement and Place guidance by the State Government, this in-person event will reflect on the legacy of the now superseded guidance and discuss the implications of the updated guidance, noting that both versions of the guidance seek to help create safer, more welcoming and attractive streets and public spaces that better support people, communities and local places. This in-person event will feature a multidisciplinary panel, with presenters that have expertise in transport planning, urban design and planning & engagement. There will be time for Q&A after the presentations.

This session will be relevant to a range of industry professionals including transport planners, traffic engineers, town planners, urban designers and landscape architects, among other professionals who influence our built environment.

For those who want to stick around after the presentations, we will have networking over drinks and nibbles at Basement Comedy Club, Morris House, 120 Exhibition Street. The presentations will run until approx. 6pm, with the networking and drinks running from 6pm until late.
