What to expect

As South East Queensland continues to grow, transport nodes are evolving beyond places to park and catch a train. With major projects such as The Wave shaping the future of the North Coast corridor, there is a growing opportunity to rethink how walking, cycling and other active transport modes connect people to public transport and surrounding communities.

Join the Queensland Branch for a morning of insights, discussion and networking as we explore how transport hubs can evolve into integrated mobility centres that support more sustainable, accessible and connected communities.

Hear directly from representatives of TMR's The Wave public transport initiative, one of South East Queensland's most significant transport initiatives, and gain insights into how it is shaping the future of the North Coast corridor.

The event will also feature a well-rounded panel bringing together perspectives from private consulting, state government and academia to discuss the challenges and opportunities of encouraging mode shift and delivering integrated transport outcomes in rapidly growing regional centres.
