What to Expect
This session aims to share findings with the engineering community from our two-year AI practice: (1) how to move away from generic AI tools toward "outcome-responsible" systems, (2) how targeted AI can reduce workload in routine administration and support, and (3) a roadmap for developing similar tools for engineering education and professional practice their daily tasks with RAG, multi-agent evaluation, and feedback-loop creation.
Join us for this webinar, presented by Team "πππ©πππΆπππ" from Monash University.
When general-purpose AI tools drift away from subject-specific technical materials, how do we keep their responses accurate, traceable, and fit for purpose? Our exploration started with ππΆπππ¦π, a retrieval-grounded AI tool developed and implemented at Monash Civil and Environmental Engineering teaching practice. The developed underlying algorithms organise reference materials and align them with targeted searching. The deployment attracted over 3,000 user inquiries and resulted in a 33% reduction in routine workload (from teaching staff). Furthermore, tools were developed to transform large-scale raw user data into "intelligence" and "patterns" to identify learning bottlenecks.
Registrations closing 21 September 2026.
