What to expect

This webinar intends to build on the previous webinar ‘Rural Intersection Design 101’ which looked at the basics of sight distance and turn treatment requirements. We will now focus on applying the calculations undertaken as part of the previous webinar to real world examples.

For the sight distance requirements we will look at how we would record the sight distance at an unsignalised rural intersection. We will look at some of the common issues that occur and ways these can be mitigated or improved.

We will also look to step through the calculation of the specifics of the various turn treatment options and how these are then applied to a concept design.

Registrations open 23 April 2026.

For more information please contact the team at TPA.
